GLOCK x Aimpoint COA Red Dot First Shots and Impression | The PERFECT GLOCK ?

Glock 19 Gen 5 Aimpoint COA Combo: A Game-Changer for Optics and Performance

What’s up, YouTube! TonyD2Wild here, and today we’re taking a close look at the Glock 19 Gen 5 Aimpoint COA Combo, a collaboration between Glock and Aimpoint. I’ve spent some time with the Glock 19 in various models, and the Gen 5 is no exception. It’s familiar territory with some key updates, including a new optic setup that really stands out.

The Glock 19 Gen 5 has long been a favorite for many, and I’ve recently been experimenting with both the Glock 45 and Glock 19. The Glock 19 offers a more compact feel while still packing impressive capacity with 15-round mags (or up to 17 with a mag extension). It's that perfect balance of portability and performance.

The Aimpoint COA Combo is where things get interesting. Glock teamed up with Aimpoint to create the A Cut optic system, which offers a very low, stable mounting for the Aimpoint COA Red Dot. This unique cut allows the optic to sit low enough to co-witness perfectly with the sights, and it doesn’t require the typical adapter plates or extra milling we often see with other optics setups.

One of the few downsides I see with this setup is that the A Cut is exclusive to Aimpoint for now. So, unless Aimpoint decides to license the A Cut to other optics companies like Holosun, you’re locked into this system for now. But if you're a fan of Aimpoint's reliability and durability, you’re getting top-tier performance out of the box, without needing to do extra work on your slide.

The Glock 19 Gen 5 Aimpoint COA Combo features the Aimpoint COA Red Dot, which is designed for fast target acquisition and exceptional accuracy. It’s perfect for professional use or personal defense, with the added bonus of being part of a limited collaboration that you won’t find anywhere else. The A Cut also provides a solid lock-down mechanism, securing the optic without any wobble, ensuring that your dot stays on target no matter what.

What I love most about this setup is the flush fit of the optic. You’re not adding bulk or messing with adapters, and it’s perfect for anyone who wants a seamless, high-performance optic that co-witnesses with the iron sights. Plus, the A Cut system ensures a tight, stable fit, preventing the optic from shifting or losing zero.

For those who want a solid, versatile carry gun with the option to run optics right out of the box, this Glock 19 Gen 5 Aimpoint combo is a great choice. It’s not just another Glock; it’s a performance upgrade that takes everything we love about the Glock 19 and adds an advanced optic system for even more versatility.

If you're interested in picking one up, let me know your thoughts below! I love the idea of running a Red Dot on a Glock without having to deal with all the extra steps—just buy it and go. Glock and Aimpoint did a great job here. Catch you on the next one!
